Access-Ability Open Sailing

This free, volunteer-run program allows individuals with disabilities to learn to sail! Every 2nd Saturday from April until August sailors come down to the Downtown Sailing Center and go sailing, watched over, coached, and often accompanied by a tireless group of volunteers, friends, and family. No experience is necessary, and many complete novices are able to solo sail (if they want to) on their first or second time in our small, beautiful, and non-capsizable access dinghies. If you are a person with a disability and want to go sailing, or know someone who does, RSVP by calling the Downtown Sailing Center at 410-727-0722, and get signed up on the schedule. Space is limited, so call early!
