1st Annual Halloween on the Harbor
To Benefit the Community Outreach Programs of the Downtown Sailing Center
Saturday, October 30, 2010 Parade: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Downtown Sailing Center will host the 1st Annual Halloween on the Harbor, a parade of boats in Baltimore's Harbor. Prizes will be awarded for the “Best Dressed Boat” in several categories and a post-parade party will bring entrants, friends and families together to celebrate the event.
Entry Fee: $100 suggested donation (checks made payable to the Downtown Sailing Center)
Event Schedule:
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – The event officially starts with a Friday-Social like party under the pavilion and with boat decoration and preparation.
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Boats sail up and down the harbor in costume (both boats and crew in costume!).
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Post-race celebration: Little Havana's
Boat prizes awarded – best dressed in several categories
Prizes for best costume – male & female costume
The Downtown Sailing Center is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit community sailing center.
